Al Joe (A.J.) Everette, Sr., age 85 of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born September 20, 1932 in Morrilton, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Alvin Everette and Canzader Foster Everette. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Velma Lee Perry Everette of Morrilton, five sons; Henry Everette of Utah, Al Joe Everette (Mary Joe) of California, Dennis Everette (Deborah) of Morrilton, Johnny Everette (Deadria) of Conway and Lawrence Williams (Mandi) of Mt. Olive, five daughters; Suzanne Burton (Jimmy), Bettye Williford (Arthur) all of Little Rock, Carolyn Everette, Cynthia Jackson (Bob) and Lorinda Everette all of Morrilton, 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral service for Mr. Everette will be Saturday, December 2, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at First Assembly of God Church 400 N. Cherry St. Morrilton by Rev. Arthur J. Lock. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Morrilton. The body will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church the day of the funeral. Family visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 144 Mt. Zion Loop in Morrilton.
