Alice Dean Parks, age 87 of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. Born May 17, 1929 in Morrilton, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Morgan Heaggans and Louise McGee. She is survived by four sons; Glenn (Jean) Parks of Russellville, Arkansas, Jason (Valette) Parks of Olathe, Kansas, Donnie Parks of Morrilton, Arkansas and Gary (Wendy) Parks of Russellville, Arkansas, three daughters; Bessie (Ottis) Vann of Charlotte North Carolina, Patricia Parks of Kansas City, Missouri and Jeanetta (Roy) Brockman of Center Ridge, Arkansas, one brother, Willie Brockman, Jr. of Ottawa, Kansas, 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Parks will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton by Dr. Henry Harris. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Kenwood. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. the day of the funeral. Public viewing will be from 2:00 P.M to 6:00 P.M., Friday, February 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
