Alice B. Reed, age 83, of Springfield, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016. Born April 21, 1933 in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late James and Sadie Walker. She is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Reed Hood of Menifee, Arkansas and Tonja Reed Cooper of Carrollton, Texas, one son, Roman Reed, Jr. (Bonnie) of Springfield, Arkansas, one step-daughter, Marilyn Hudspeth (Justus) of Huntsville, AL, four sisters; Joyce Crockett of Ft. Worth, Texas, Gladys Washington (Earl) of Humble, Texas, Pauline Allen (Willie)of Springfield, Arkansas and Gerline Pitts (Sam) of Wills Point, Texas, four brothers; Amos Walker of Little Rock, Arkansas, Benjamin Walker (Ruby) of Springfield, AR, Hermon Walker of Richardson, Texas and Michael Walker, Sr. (Jerri) of Memphis, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and two step great-granddaughters. Funeral service for Mrs. Reed will be Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield by Rev. Percy Gilbert. Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery in Springfield by Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home of Morrilton.
