Amos Calvin Delph was born to Cecil Delph and Bertha LaFaye Coleman Delph on November 29, 1954 in Menifee, AR by a midwife. His grandparents were Ernest and Parthenia Delph and Jeff and Daisy Coleman. He was called home April 9, 2012 in the St. Vincent Morrilton Hospital, in Morrilton, Arkansas. His father, grandparents and two brothers perceded him in death. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the St. Mark Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Sylvester King. He later rededicated under the leadership of Pastor David Gober, Jr. He was united in marriage to Brenda McAllister. To this union, one son was born, Christopher Delph. His wife and son, preceded him in death. He graduated from Eastside High School, Menifee, Arkansas in 1972. He did construction and manufacturing work. He was a chef by nature. His hobbies were cooking, dancing, and making people laugh. He loved and enjoyed being with his family. He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his mother, Bertha LaFaye Delph, Menifee, AR; one daughter, Rita Mechelle Delph Pirtle, Conway, AR; one stepson, Roderick Kindle, Russellville, AR; two stepdaughters, LaNasha Kindle, Boston, MA and Karma Lee Kindle, Morrilton, AR, five brothers; James Delph (Elease) of Conway, AR; Ronald Delph (Caprisha) of Little Rock, AR; Eric Delph (Kelly) of Menifee, AR; Waymon Delph (Durinda) of Kansas City, MO and Stevenson Delph (Qunda)of Menifee, AR; five sisters, Olivia Fuller, Carla Delph Polletta Johnson all of Conway, AR, Tracy Trezvant of Menifee, AR and Diana Byers (Tony) of Cleveland, AR, one grandson, Earl Pirtle IV of Conway, Arkansas, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Delph will be Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee, AR by Rev. Tony Byers. Burial will be in Menifee Community Cemetery.
