Arbie Lee Templeton was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ben and Bertha Blackmon on December 13, 1922 in the Hickory Hill community. She departed this life on May 15, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She professed her faith in Christ at the age of 12. She later joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Kenwood, AR. She was a faithful and loyal member to her church serving in the capacity of usher, Sunday school teacher, secretary and choir member for over 45 years. She was an energetic worker in her church under the leadership of Pastor Luke Hawkins until her health failed her. The following family members preceded her in death: Theodore Templeton, her husband of 55 years; Jessie and Lemorn Bowles, her two brothers; Lula Mae Robinson and Annie Mae Erby, her two sisters. She married Theodore Templeton on May 10, 1949 and to this union 10 children were born. Arbie leaves to cherish her memory seven daughters: Margaret McAlister ( Gary) of Colorado Springs, CO, Shirley Dillard (Felton) of Twin Groves, AR, Alberta Lasker (Clarance) and Tabitha Nichols (Kenneth) of Conway, AR, Betty Clemons (Cleathes), Arbie Moore (Ronald), and Janice Templeton all of Little Rock, AR; three sons; Tedles Templeton (Janie) of Ottawa, KS, Terry Templeton (Betty) and Timothy Templeton of Morrilton, AR; three sisters: Ruby Ausler of Kansas City, KS, Virginia Jeffers of Conway, AR and Bertha Bowles of Morrilton, AR.
