Sister Armalee Q. Patterson was born August 14, 1921 to the late Calvin and Cora Criswell. She departed this life on March 20, 2009. She joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age. She served as an usher during the time she was active in the church. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Leathey M. Criswell and Lucy Walker; four brothers: Verlee Criswell, Fred Criswell, Calvin Criswell Jr. and Ervin Criswell. She leaves to chrish her memories; two daughters, Berhta Toney and Ruby Toney both of Springfield, Arkansas, a stepdaughter, Jimmie Lee Warren of Springfield, Arkansas, one son, Alvin Smith of Springfield, Arkansas,a daughter-in- law, Ruby Jewell Smith of Springfield, Arkansas, two sisters; Alice Hoyle (Scipio) and Lila Ruth Payne both of Plumerville, Arkansas, fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
