Audrey S. Wolfe Jr, (Pistol), age 70, of Jacksonville, AR passed away, August 12, 2017. The first of ten children, he was born on October 4, 1946 in Morrilton, AR to Audrey Straight Wolfe Sr. and Mildred Lousie Leatherwood (Johnson) Wolfe. He attended Sarah Clark Elementary School, LW Sullivan High School and graduated from Morrilton High School, Morrilton Arkansas. He was a lifelong member of Lane Tabernacle CME church in Plumerville, Arkansas. Early in his life he exhibited superior mechanical skills operating heavy equipment.His talent and expertise in driving served him well throughout his life.After joining the US Army, he trained in mechanics at Fort Polk Louisiana and later served his country in Vietnam.Upon being honorably discharged, he began a career in the trucking industry soon after.As an employee of an entrepreneur in Cleveland, Ohio; he eventually owned and operated a trucking business.He returned home as a Senior Driver of Southern Farmer Association (SFA), and later joined ABF and remained until his retirement from trucking in 2013. He is survived by his Mother, Mildred L Wolfe of Olathe Kansas, four sons: Patrick Wolfe (Marilyn) of Plumerville, AR, Willie Bookie Foster of Kansas City, KS, Marcus Wolfe and Trenton Wolfe of Plumerville, AR, three daughters: Ladonna Jones (Otis) of Arlington, TX, Tracy Parks (Clay) of Conway, AR, and Audra Wolfe of Arlington, TX, four brothers: Melvin Wolfe of Plumerville AR; Stanley Wolfe of Kansas City, MO; James K. Wolfe of Cleveland, OH and Grady (Peggy) Wolfe of Sherwood, AR, five sisters: Meriam White of Cleveland, OH; Frances Bea Sanders of Olathe KS; Bettye Day of Kansas City, MO; Carol (Parnell) Strickland of Salinas, CA; and Vivian Wolfe of Conway, AR;grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews which span four generations. Funeral service for Mr. Wolfe will be Thursday, August 17, 2017 1:00 P.M. at Trinity C.M.E. Church402 N. ChestnutSt. Morrilton, Arkansas by Rev. Tyrone Davis. Interment will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue,North Little Rock , ArkansasFriday August 18, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.
