Mrs. Beulah O. Talley was born in Bigelow, Arkansas on October 24, 1923. Beulah was the daughter of Robert and Octavia Casey. Beulah departed this life on April 7, 2009. She gave her soul to Christ at the age of 13 and maintained her membership at Bethel A.M. E. Church her entire Christian life. She united in marriage to Wilmon O.D. Talley in 1943, who preceded her in death. To this union five children were born. Beulah Talley worked as adomestic, farm laborer and family planning advisor. She loved singing, piecing quilts and working in the garden. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and emphasizing the importance of a good education. As a church worker, she was a class leader, president of the missionary society and choir member. She directed the Homecoming Program for over 25 years to ensure the church had the funds to cover expenses for insurance and renovations. She leaves to mourn: Children: Beatrice (Howard) Mckindra, Wilmon Odell (Teretha) Talley, Barbara (Albert) James, Dale (Nancy) Talley, Belinda (Maynard) Kittrell, one sister, Daisy Collier, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
