Mrs. Bobbie J. Ross 88, of Hattieville, Arkansas transitioned on March 25, 2024. Bobbie Jean Ross was born October 2,1935 to James and Mary Ross in Hattieville, AR. Bobbie was educated at the Center School District. She was a devoted Christian and life-long member of New Mt Zion AME Zion Church where she was a Choir Leader for Junior Choir and held other positions. Bobbie was a strong, phenomenal, black woman that raised five children and two grandchildren as a single parent. She was a community activist and was employed with ARVC in Dardanelle, Arkansas She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, gardening and was an Assistant Coach for Center Softball Team. She was preceded in death by her two children: Terry Ross and Vanessa Ross; four sisters, Elizabeth Ross, Sara Ross, Wanda Garlington and Billie Clarkson. Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories daughters; Esserean Stewart and Lisa Stewart; son, David Ross; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
