Bobby Earl Criswell Sr. was born December 15, 1955 to the late Samuel Adam Criswell Sr. and Hallie Velma Criswell. Early in life, he professed a hope in Christ and joined the Holly Springs Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death. He departed this life May 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Earl Criswell Jr. and his brother Samuel Adam Criswell Jr. He graduated from Menifee High School where he loved basketball and helped his high school team to win a state basketball championship. He united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Susan Kaye Toney in 1974, to this union five children were born. He was employed at Tyson Foods for twenty-seven years. He was a hard worker, loved making things work and took joy in helping others whenever he could. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-seven years, Susan Kaye, two daughters, Annette and Kiara Criswell of Springfield, AR and two sons, Christopher and Jeremiah (Jazz) of Springfield, AR, three grandchildren, Bobby Criswell, Destiny Simpson and Dez'Mann Criswell, four brothers, Isaac Criswell (Joyce) of Morrilton, AR, Artice Criswell (Stella) of Springfield, AR, Leon Criswell and Jerry Criswell (Alma) of Springfield, AR, four sisters, Dorothy Hawkins of Center Ridge, AR, Allow Faye Starks (Will) of Forrest City, AR, Ruby Darby (Neal) of Old Hickory, TN, and Dianna Jefferson (Nathaniel) of Forrest City, AR, Mother-in-lae, Ruby Toney of Springfield, AR, sisters-in-law, Francis Miller, Linda Toney and Mary Toney, two brothers-in-law, Glen Toney and Gyvan Toney and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Criswell will be Saturday at 2:30 P.M. May 29, 2010 at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Springfield, AR by Rev. W.W. Walker. Burial will be at Holly Springs Cemetery in Springfield, AR. Family visitation will be Friday evening fro 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.
