Carolyn J. Everette, age 92, of Morrilton passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Born July 23, 1928 in Plumerville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hezekiah and Sarah Johnson Jefferson.

She was an Eastern Star (Morrilton Star Lily of the Valley #16).

She is survived by her sons, James Earl Gilliam of Apple Valley, California and Dwight Sylvester Everette (Flore) of Plumerville, Arkansas, daughters, La Tonia McCuien (Kellar) of Morrilton, Arkansas, Mary Emma Jean Barnes of Kansas City, Missouri and Gurtha Rene Ingram of Kansas City, Kansas, Florence Salton of Memphis, Tennessee, one of her nieces she raised as a daughter and Vera Cross, who she thought of as her daughter, one sister, Ella Bell Criswell, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 11great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service is 11 a.m., Saturday, November 28 at Edmondson Cemetery in Plumerville by Rev. Holliman. Walk through viewing will be Friday, November 27, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home. Masks are required.
