Charles Hood, 54 of Conway, Arkansas transitioned on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at his home. Charles Curtis Hood was born September 6, 1969, in Morrilton, Arkansas to Theodore Hood Sr. and the late Eunice Mae Day Hood. At an early age Charles professed a hope in Christ and united with the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the usher board. Charles graduated from Morrilton High School. In 1990, he moved to Conway, Arkansas. He worked at Rally's and Aramark until his health began to fail. Charles was preceded in death by his mother and brother Michael Clarence Hood. He leaves to cherish his memories father; Theodore Hood, Sr.; four sisters, Brenda K. (Leon) Black; Onita Faye Martin and Nicki Gail Hood all of Russellville, AR; Gwen Michelle Hood of Jacksonville, AR; two brothers; Theodore Hood, Jr of Conway, AR, and Edward Lee (Christy) Hood of Russellville, AR; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin's, other relatives and friends. Afterglow I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
