Mr. Charles Smith (Walking Charlie) was born April 4, 1932 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Loraine Hicks Smith and Charley J. Smith. He departed this life on October 20, 2008 at St. Anthonys Medical Center in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church and attended at his will. He resided at Morrilton Manor, Brookridge and later moved to Riverview where he lived until his demise. His sister, Bettye Joe Pearson and his brother Charles Elliot preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his home going, an aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Hicks Gaylord of Omaha, Nebraska, two sisters, Jennifer Ratliff (Ted) of Morrilton, Arkansas and Barbara Ruth Hunt of Omaha, Nebraska, two special nieces and one special nephew all of California, a large host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
