Sister Christine Barnes-McDaniel was born December 4, 1945, daughter of the late Judge Barnes and Frances Brown Barnes Campbell in Mt. Zion, Arkansas. She departed this life on February 27, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital. She professed a hope in Christ an an early age and joined Greater Union Hill Baptist Church. She later became a faithful member of St. Matthew No. 3 in Blackwell, Arkansas. Her final membership was with Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Atkins, Arkansas under the leadership of Rev. Paul S. Erby. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Sharon Harris (Roderick) of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sons, John Claude McDaniel Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gregory Lynn McDaniel of Morrilton, Arkansas and Marcus Aaron McDaniel (Lisa) of Atkins, Arkansas and six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Frances Campbell of Morrilton, Arkansas; five sisters, Catherine Cunningham (Walter) of Atkins, Arkansas, Kay Nwachuku (Emmanuel) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Diane Brown (Albert) and Peggy Clemons (Jerry) and Rebecca Barnes of Morrilton, Arkansas, three brothers, Johnny Campbell of Morrilton, Arkansas, Harold Barnes of California and Leonard Barnes (Dora) of Sherwood, Arkansas and her special aunt Zeptha Taylor of Morrilton, Arkansas.
