Donald W. Taylor, 65, of Morrilton, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008. He worked for Cheek Wholesale in Atkins for 25 years and then for the City of Morrilton for eight years. He loved stock car racing and horses. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at First Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lyle Ello and Willie (Stobaugh) Taylor, his brother : James Lyle, grandson: Daniel Gabriel Nixon and nephew: Billy Ray Taylor, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty (Holmes) Taylor: his children, Shirley Nixon of Bryant and Mark Taylor of Morrilton: grandchildren, Jeremy Nixon of Bryant, Arkansas, Brandon Taylor, Jeremy Taylor and Matthew Taylor of Morrilton, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews.
