Donna L. Shavers, 71 of Menifee, Arkansas transitioned on December 5, 2022 at Heritage Living Center. Sister Donna L. Shavers was born in Morrilton, Arkansas April 1, 1951, to John Shavers and Izola Hood Shavers. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. She graduated from CCTS- Eastside High School in Menifee, Arkansas in 1969, then continued her education at Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a home health aide. On December 12, 1972, she had one daughter Elaunda Michelle Simmons Pirtle. Donna was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a funny, wonderful lady who touched many lives, she will forever remain in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her father John Shavers; daughter, Elaunda Pirtle; sisters, Betty Goldberg and Vera Shavers; brother, Elijah Shavers. Donna leaves to cherish her memory; mother, Izola Hood Shavers of Morrilton, Arkansas; son-in-law, Jeffery Reagan Pirtle of Conway, Arkansas; grandson Reagan Khalil Pirtle of Morrilton, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kailee Ionna Pirtle of Conway, Arkansas; great granddaughter, Elauni Amari Symone Henderson of Conway, Arkansas; four sisters, Sarah (Tony)Foster, Johnnie (Robert) Oliver of Menifee, Arkansas, Linda Shavers and Brenda (Larry) Stewart of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three brothers Maurice Shavers, Larry Shavers of Menifee, Arkansas and Richard Shavers of Hot Springs, Arkansas and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers-in law, sisters- in law, other family members and friends.
