Donnie Ray Hervey was born to the late Walter (Buddy) Hervey, Sr. and Charlie Bell McDaniel Hervey on September 25, 1951. He departed from this earthly home on May 14, 2012 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. W. S. Thomas. He attended Plumerville Elementary #2 School. After finishing gradeschool, he graduated from Plumerville High School. He entered the United States Army in 1974. He obtained the rank of Sergeant. He served our country for six years. He worked for Arkansas Kraft (Paper Mill) in Morrilton, Arkansas for 36 years. His main job was driving a truck which he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Hervey, Sr. and Charlie Bell Hervey, three sisters, Virginia McCay, Juanita Fletcher and Sandra Cooper. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Monica Hervey of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and TaShina Hervey of Overland Park, Kansas, three sons, Donald (Shone) Hervey of Independence, Missouri, Eric (Audrey) Hervey of Little Rock, Arkansas and Tramail Hervey of Plumerville, Arkansas, three sisters, Betty Williams of Plumerville, Arkansas, Shirley Mae (Lee) Williams of Kansas City, Missouri and Menthia Ausler of Conway, Arkansas, two brothers, James (Connie) Parks of Kansas City, Missouri and Walter (Jean) Hervey, Jr. of Plumerville, Arkansas, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral service for Mr. Hervey will be Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville, Arkansas by Rev. Bryan Cox. Burial will be in Owens Cemetery in Plumerville.
