Mr. Duel L. Cross, 73 of Plumerville, Arkansas transitioned on April 3, 2026. Duel was born on June 10, 1952, to the late Sammie “Harrison” Cross and Vivian Cross. He professed his life to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church where he remained faithful until his health failed him. He was a 1970 graduate of Plumerville High School. He was a retiree from IC Corporation formerly known as Amtran. Duel was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Vera L. Black and daughter, Shanell Renea Cross.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Marketta (Toney) Canady of Plumerville, AR, Tamberly Cross of Plumerville, AR, two grandchildren; Tamera Criswell and Javionne Porchay of Plumerville, AR, two sisters, Cubia Fair, Shreveport, LA, and Barbara(Ronald) Bridges, Plumerville, AR, one Aunt, Morolyn “Annette” George, a special longtime friend, Terry (Bo) Hervey. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
