Elbert Jason Parks, age 94, of Morrilton, died September 8, 2015. He was born September 12, 1920 in Morrilton to Jason and Nora Parks. His survivors include his wife, Ida Parks, his children, EJ, Robert (Marcie), Charles, Dwight (Donna), William, Tommy (Martesia) and Johnny Parks, Ethel Mae (John) Green, Lucretia Akins, Gail Parks, Marilyn Williams, Vivian (Douglas) Jeffers,Ellen Parks and Coma (James) Wilborn, 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are Saturday, September 12, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church, 1600 W. Church Street in Morrilton by Rev. Luke Hawkins.Interment will be in Pleasant Hill #2 Cemetery in Kenwood, Arkansas. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. the day of the funeral. Family visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at St. Matthew #2 Missionary Baptist Church.
