Sister Louise was a surgical nurse under the observation of the late Dr. T.H. Hickey for many years. Sister Hervey became a member of Union Baptist Church of Morrilton, Arkansas in 1988, where she served faithfully until she became ill. Sister Emma Louise Hervey was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on December 28, 1918. She departed this life on September 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Donie Blackwell, daughter, Lula Mae Brockman, grandson, Bernard Brockman, her husband, Romie Hervey and two sisters, Ruby Gorman and Jewell Houmbert. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories; brother, Virgil (Almeta) Blackwell of Damascus, Arkansas, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
