Florence J. Hervey, 68 of Morrilton, Arkansas transitioned, Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Florence Jane Hervey was born on December 13, 1954, in Plumerville, Arkansas to the late Lenora Hervey Davis. She was the youngest of three siblings. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Her education began in the public schools of Plumerville, Arkansas and she furthered her studies at Petit Jean Vocational Technical School, where she specialized in Early Childhood Education. For over 45 years, she lovingly cared for numerous children at her in-home daycare. Her commitment to nurturing young lives extended to her employment at First Baptist Church for three decades, where she managed the nursery. Florence dedicated her life's work to the well-being of children from diverse backgrounds. Her passion for cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her family was unwavering. She provided care and support to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren until her death. Florence was preceded in death by her grandmother, the late Molly Hervey, mother, Lenora Hervey Davis, and two brothers, Jimmy Wolfe and Sammy Lee McDaniel. She is survived by her children whom she cherished: Meachelle Conway and Bronda Wolfe both of Kansas City, MO, Shantrel (Andre) Reliford of Raymore, MO, Zuri Wright and Damian (Briana) Wright of Morrilton, AR; seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
