Francis Louise Everette, the last child born to Elijah Everette, Sr. and Glessie Garrett Everette, was born on November 25, 1965 in Morrilton, Arkansas. During her formative years, Francis attended Conway County Public Schools. She was a 1984 graduate of Morrilton High School where she participated in Track and Field, Future Teachers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, FICA, and she also played the saxophone in her high school band. Francis was introduced to and accepted the Lord at an early age, She was baptized at Spring Valley Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. G.C. Tyus. Francis was very active at church where she served as an usher, sung in the choir, attended Baptist Training Union, and served various other capacities in the church. After relocating to Dallas, TX, she united with Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Cecil Smith. There she was amember of the Women's Singles Ministry and the Helping Hands Ministry. Each year Francis participated in the Women's Day Choir. Francis remained a faithful member at Mt. Pisgah until her health failed. Francis leaves endearing memories with her mother, Glessie Mae Everette; two brothers, Elijah, Jr (Bernice) and Bobby (Paula) of Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Roberta Young (Billy) of Blytheville, Beverly Toney (Robert) and Sharon Everette of Morrilton; one uncle, William Frank Everette (Lillian) of Kansas City, KS; special nephews that she was determined to make men of. She also leaves behind a treasure trove of nieces , and other loving family and friends. Funeral service for Ms. Everette will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11;00 A.M. at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville, AR by Rev. Delaney Fleming, Burial will be at Spring Valley Cemetery in Morrilton. Family visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton.
