Helen Ruth Moore Byers, 51, of Cleveland, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord October 27, 2008. She was born July 4, 1957 in Cleveland, Arkansas, to James and Ruthie Moore. She was preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Byers, two sisters, Lachelle Moore and Donna Fletcher, mother-inlaw, Mazell Byers, father-inlaw, Andrew Byers and one sister-inlaw, Mildred Canady. Helen graduated from Wonderview High School in Cleveland, Arkansas. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the New Prospect Baptist Church where she remained until her passing. During her time with the church, she served as Youth director, Wednesday night teacher and Sunday school teacher. She was also a faithful member of the choir and found joy in singing praises to the Lord. Helen was a loving wife,daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend. Her life and strength touched so many. All who knew her will miss her. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother and father Ruthie and James Moore of Cleveland, Arkansas, her husband, Jerry Byers of Cleveland, Arkansas, two children, Danyel Robinson of Cleveland, Arkansas and Sharonda Byers of Conway, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Dakyra Byers, sisters, Jennifer Foster (Henry), Verna Foster (Ronald), Karen Stricklen (Wayne), Tanya Duncan (Glen Dale), Loretta Moore all of Morrilton, Arkansas and Nan Garlington (Van) of Cleveland, Arkansas, one brother, James Wilbur Moore (Lynn) of Morrilton, Arkansas, her in-laws, Mary Louise Williams (Lewis), Karen Byers (Rev. Robert Byers), Brenda Brown (Willie), Roy Byers and Andrew Byers, Jr. also a host of nieces and nephews.
