Howard Clayton Godby III of Morrilton, Arkansas formerly of Marietta, Georgia departed this life on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the tender age of 49. He was born on June 29, 1974 in Alabama to the late Howard C. III & Sandra Godby.

Howard was a phenomenal father to his children, who enjoyed talking about chickens. He was an avid Crimson Tide fan. Howard was a real fanatic when it comes to woodwork.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents: Howard Clayton Godby II & Sandra Godby; grandparents: Georgia and Frazier Whisnant; aunt: Connie Whisnant; uncle: Ricky Whisnant.

Howard leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife: Candy N. Godby; sons: Howard Clayton Godby IV, Cheyenne Godby, Madison Godby, brothers: Joseph and Brandon Godby of North Carolina; sisters: Bianca Godby of Georgia and Tara Martin of Alabama; uncles Charles (Charlie), Paul and Tony Whisnant; aunts: Amy Whisnant of Morrilton, AR and Clara Martin of Alabama. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
