Isaac Leon Criswell, Sr. was born October 1, 1939 to the late Samuel Adam and Hallie Velma Criswell of Springfield, Arkansas. He departed this life on May 18, 2016 in the comfort of his home surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by two sons, Isaac Jr. (Skeet) and Marco Cooper, two brothers, Samuel Criswell Jr. and Bobby Earl Criswell. Early in life, he professed a hope in Christ and joined the Holly Springs Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death. He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, (AM&N) for two years.He retired as a trackman from Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was high spirited and lived life to the fullest. He leaves to cherish his memories, his long time companion, Joyce Lee Gilliam,Morrilton, Arkansas, six daughters; Tina Campbell (Ricky), Palm Desert, California, Pamela Williams, McKinney, Texas, Felicia Smith (Adrian), Houma, Louisiana, Elonda Criswell, Carrollton, Texas, Naposa ""Tiny"" Criswell, Morrilton, Arkansas and Kyla Criswell, Conway, Arkansas, four sons; Cedric Criswell, Houma, Louisiana, Tashicka Criswell (Ramona), Zanasta Criswell and Caregal Criswell all of Morrilton, Arkansas, three brothers; Artice Criswell (Stella), Leon Criswell, and Jerry Criswell (Alma) all of Springfield, Arkansas, four sisters; Dorothy Hawkins of Center Ridge, Arkansas, Allow Starks (Will), Dianna Jefferson of Forrest City, Arkansas and Ruby Darby (Neal), Nashville, Tennessee, 30 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Criswell will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Arkansas by Rev. Lee Andrew Criswell. Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery in Springfield, Arkansas.
