Mrs. Kathlyn Clemons, 71 of Solgohachia, Arkansas transitioned on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her home. Mrs. Kathlyn Clemons, affectionately known as Kathy, was born on April 14, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois to her parents James A. and Arether Johnson. Kathlyn moved to Rockford, IL, where she met the love of her life. She then relocated to Arkansas and spent the last 25 years in Solgohachia, enjoying gardening, knitting, and cherishing moments with her family. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Frank Crosby. She is survived by her husband Larry Clemons; 5 sisters: Janice Bynum, Anita Evans, Theresa (Eugene) Harvey, Cynthia (Gilbert) Hibbert, and Renee Johnson; 5 sons: Ronald Brown, Edward (Rashanda) Brown, James Brown, Sr., Valentino Montgomery and Lonnell (Irene) Griffin; 3 Daughters: Shavette (Earnest) Thompson, Katrina Johnson, and Kathlynn (Dominique) Myers; 26 grandchildren: Marquille Forest, Tremell McElroy, Shanae Curry, Davontae Hoover, Marquesha Walsh, Edward Walsh, Cornelius Brown, Nathaniel Brown, Zechariah Brown, Ed'Driana Brown, James Brown Jr., LaPrecia Ducksworth, Shavette (Zachary) Coble, Julius Brown, Julius Johnson, Calvin (Quintaria) Guy Jr, Jalen Griffin, Kameron Hubbard, Ny'ree Griffin, Lanyah Griffin, Lonnell Griffin Jr., Dennis Griffin, Alaya Wayne, Bryson Wayne, Dalani Countryman, and Nyair Countryman; 30 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild: Tokio McDonald and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
