Lee Kenneth, age 76 of Phoenix, Arizona was born September 28, 1941 to Earl and Annie Mae Erby in Happy Bend Community. He was the second of ten children. As a child, Lee attended Pilgrim Rest #2 and LW Sullivan High School. The family moved from Happy Bend to Blackwell, Arkansas. On August 1, 2017, Lee's belief became reality as he transitioned from this life to eternal glory. On this day, Lee became whole and all suffering ceased to exist. His parents, three brothers Chester Lee, Cecil, and Sterling Erby, and his ex-wife Carrie Jean Gray preceded him in death. Lee leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Melvalene Erby, his daughter, Sharise Erby-Castle (Michael) of Phoenix, AZ, his sons, Darryl Erby of Cincinnati, OH, and Carlos Tolliver of Los Angeles, CA, his sisters; Veatric Erby Williams, Dorothy Jean Erby Alexander, Annie Jean Erby Everette (Blackstone), Glendora Erby Dunbar, and brothers; Robert Erby,Paul Erby (Dorinda), 8 step-children, 24 grandchildren,16 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Erby will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Pilgrim Rest #2 1632 Happy Bend Road Atkins, Arkansas by Darryl Erby, eulogist. Public viewing at the church will be 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. The funeral begins at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Blackwell.
