Mr. Lee Allen Stricklen, 85 of Morrilton, Arkansas transitioned on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Lee was born October 23, 1937, in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Carlene Thornton Stricklen and Samuel Stricklen. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with St. Paul AME Church in Morrilton, Arkansas, where he remained a member until his death. Lee was a well-known barber and loyal employee of South Conway County School District for 45 years, until his retirement in 2011. On October 18, 1962 he was united in holy matrimony to Catherine Rosbia. He is preceded in death by his wife Catherine Rosbia Stricklen; five sisters, Vanella Stricklen, Emmerlene Stricklen Arnold, Louvade Stricklen Salisberry, Thelma Stricklen Boyd, Mary Rebecca Stricklen; six brothers, Samuel Henry Stricklen, Garland Stricklen, James Henry Stricklen, Eddie Green Stricklen, Carl Stricklen and Charlie Stricklen. He leaves to cherish his memories four sons; David Ushery and Wayne (Karen) Stricklen of Morrilton, Arkansas; Keith Stricklen of Frisco, Texas and Kenneth Stricklen of Conway, Arkansas; six daughters, Vivian Stricklen, Kathy Stricklen, Felicia Stricklen, Alice Stricklen and Paries Stricklen all of Morrilton, Arkansas; Samantha Stricklen of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Goddaughter, Ramona Willingham of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandsons, Carlos (Jennifer) Ushery, Allen Thomas, Joshua (Torie) Stricklen, Terrin (Casey) Ushery and Jakobe Chambers; granddaughter, Shekinna Stricklen and a host of great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. We thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday And days before that, too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name.
