Obituary

Leonard Ray Murray, age 56 of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 12, 2016. He was born April 19, 1960 to the late Roxie Viola Murray and W.T. Everette. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Greater Union Hill Baptist Church in Morrilton. He graduated from Morrilton High School in 1979.He worked for many years at the Cotton Mill, Hixon Lumber and McFarlin Lawn Service.He enjoyed his family, all sports and fishing. He is preceded in death by his sister Ethel Mae Allen. He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Chesney Murray, India Bridgeford, Trinia Bridgeford and Joslyn (Gene) Boyd, three sons, Quincy Murray, Chauncy Murray and Joshua Holland all of Kansas City, Missouri, four sisters, Emma Sanders of Morrilton, Ernestine Foster of Wichita, Kansas, Martha Murray of Ruston, Louisiana and Linda (twin) Murray of Detroit, Michigan, four brothers, Charles Henry Murray and Phillip Murray both of Detroit, Michigan, Billy Joe Murray of Earle, Arkansas and W.C. (Jackie) Murray of Morrilton, two grandchildren, Malasia Murray and Quincy Murray II, a special friend, Gloria Levels, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Murray will be Monday, September 19, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Greater Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas by Rev. Brandon Williams. Interment will be in Owens Cemetery in Plumerville, Arkansas. Public viewing will be Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.
