Mrs. Lorine Reese, 92 of Morrilton, Arkansas transitioned on Friday, July 28, 2023. Mother Lorine Palmer Reese earthly journey began on November 18, 1930, in Morrilton, AR. She was the daughter of the late Clifford Palmer and Joe Willie Sandidge. She began her spiritual journey at the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville, AR where she was a beloved and faithful Sunday school teacher, BTU teacher and was the pastoral care president. She always made sure the Pastor was well fed and taken care of. She later joined Light of the World COGIC Church in Morrilton, AR. Mother Reese made Bread of Heaven Deliverance Church her final church home where she was a mother of the church under the leadership of Bishop Jerry Bradden in Morrilton, AR. She remained faithful until God called her home. Mother Reese was truly a great faithful woman of God. She never met a stranger. She was gifted with joy. She always greeted everyone with a smile, encouraging words and if you ever went to her home, a place at the table for a meal. Mother Reese was a widower at a young age with small children. Being the strong matriarch of the family, she preserved and taught them the love of God. She was blessed with longevity, allowing her to leave a great legacy of love. She was united in holy matrimony to Ulysse Reese Sr. They were blessed with eight children. Mother Reese was preceded in glory by her parents; husband Ulysee Reese Sr., sons, Ulysee Reese Jr, Steven Reese, and Randy Joe Reese; daughters, Bobbie Hervey and Lora "Ann" Reese; brother, Charles (C.L) Dixon; sisters, Ruthie M. Palmer, Delois Harris, Bertha M. Hardiman, Isabella "Pat" Hayes; grandsons, Alfred G. Brewer, Sr and Kenneth G. Brewer Sr. She leaves her precious memories to her three daughters; Velma Wright of Morrilton, AR, Sharon Reese and Lois Reese of Tulsa, OK; son, Billy Ervin of Little Rock, AR; sisters Ruby Jeffers and Pamela Shilo; brother Cornelious White both of Morrilton, AR; a special sister Norman Panell of Tulsa, OK; 41 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren. Peace, my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet. Let it not be a death but completeness. Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.
