Mable Louise King was born to Alford and Ida Henson on July 22, 1943 in Blackwell, Arkansas. Mable accepted Christ at an early age and continued to worship Christ until her passing. Mable met and married Willie Payne in 1960 and two sons, William Douglas and Edward La Monte Payne were born from this union. Mable began working for the City of Inglewood Police Department as a Special Enforcement Officer in 1972. Before her retirement 25 years later, she became a Supervisor for the Special Enforcement Unit. In 1985, Mable met and married Joe King and moved to the city of Henderson, Nevada in 1998 and began worshipping at the North Las Vegas Church of Christ. On December 9, 2010, the Lord called Mable home. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Alford Jr, William, James and Joseph, and a sister Inez. Mable leaves to cherish her memory her husband Joe C. King of Henderson, NV, threesons; LaMonte Payne of Little Rock, AR, William Payne and Kassidy King of Inglewood, CA, three sisters; Esther Olphelia Monroe and Vermastine ONeal of Kansas City, MO, andIvo Foster of Blackwell, AR, five grandchildren; Charles, La Monte, Errin, Joshua and Courtney,four great-grandchildren, Charlie, Nicole, Natalie Olivia and Aiden, a host of extended family members, friends , co-workers and brothers and sisters in Christ. Family visitation for Mrs. King will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Burial will bein Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Blackwell, AR.
