Margaret Louise Payne Thomas, 64 of Monticello, Arkansas, formerly of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. Born November 25, 1948 in Waldo, Arkansas, she was the daughter of James Payne and the late Marine Payne. She was the owner of Margaret's Hair Academy in Russellville and Monticello. Her survivors include her father, James Payne of Las Vegas, Nevada, one daughter, Sonora Lattimore of New York, one son Eric L. Thompson of Monticello, Arkansas, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Thomas will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at Pilgrim Rest A.M.E. Church, 522 Bailey Street, Monticello, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 13,, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church 311 N. Division Street in Morrilton by Rev. Kent J. Broughton, eulogist. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morrilton. Family visitation will be Friday evening, April 12, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home chapel.
