Mary Ross Garrison was born June 11, 1926 to Robert Ross Sr. and Daisy Ross, the third child of nine. Mary worked many years for Colonial Courts and Levi Strauss and Company. She spread love and joy. She will always be remembered for her outstanding cooking skills and her willingness to share her many talents with others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Garrison, her father, her mother, a sister and two brothers. She is survived by two brothers, Edward Ross of Morrilton, AR and Odis Ross of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sisters, Lula Gunnels of Omaha, NE, Rebecca Mial (Alex) of Temple Hills, MO and Bettie Davis of North Little Rock, AR, a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and good friends. Funeral service for Mrs. Garrison will be Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Morrilton. Family visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Wilson and Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.
