Mr. Mildren White was born January 1, 1933 in Lanty, AR. He was the son of the late Tomand Susie (Mitchem) White. He was the youngest of twelve children. He departed this life December 28, 2010 in Morrilton, Arkansas. He waspreceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three sisters and one daughter. He professed a hope in Christ very early in life and united with Moores Chapel AME Zion Church, Cleveland, Arkansas. He was educated in the Center School System and Conway County Training School, Menifee, Arkansas. His work history began with saw milling inCleveland, Crompton Mills in Morrilton and he retired from PineCrestLumber in Plumerville. He was a big sports fan and his favorite pastime was reading. He married Reola Byers April 3, 1956. To this union, ten children were born. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 54 years, Reola White of Morrilton, AR, five sons, Alton White of Kansas City, MO, Jarvis White of Cleveland, AR, Stafford White, Adolf White, Maurice White all of Morrilton, AR, four daughters, Marilyn Hammons, Melissa Criswell and Doris Foster all of Morrilton, AR, Jocelyn Black of Plumerville, AR, one brother, Jessie White of Benton Harbor, Michigan, two sisters,Cutie Williams of Kansas City, Kansas and Lorene (Sammy) Rainey of Kansas City, Missouri,twenty grandchildren,five great-grandchildren, a host of necies, nephews relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Moores Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church Cleveland, AR by Rev. Dr. Clarence Hobbs.Burial will be at Moores Chapel Cemetery Cleveland, Arkansas. The body will lie in state at the church the day of the funeral from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
