Nannie Lou Alexander, age, 93, of Menifee, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. Born August 2, 1921 in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, she was the daughter Adam and Vinicie Dupriest. Survivors include three sons; Perry Alexander of Smithfield, Rhode Island, Theodas Alexander of Springfield, Arkansas and Larry Alexander of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three daughters; Velma Counts of Charlotte, North Carolina, Gladys Harris of Conway, Arkansas and Ruthell Hendrix of Seattle, Washington, two daughters in law; Shirley Alexander of Seattle, Washington and Marilyn Alexander of Denver, Colorado, 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Alexander will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee, Arkansas by Rev. Delaney Fleming. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas by Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home of Morrilton. Family visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. at Wilson & Jarrett.
