Nathan Salsberry, son of the late James and Luvada Salsberry, was born September 11, 1931 in Morrilton, Arkansas.He departed this life Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 82. Nathan professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Greater Union Hill Baptist Church.Nathan served as custodian for many years at the church.He was very loyal and dedicated to his job.He served well until he entered Riverchase Rehabilitation Center.His favorite saying was, ""The Devil Is Going To Get You"", whenever he saw you doing something wrong. His love and concern for the church always remained with him throughout his stay at Riverchase, he would ask about members at the church whenever someone visited him. Nathan leaves to cherish his memories, his sister, Mae Esther Garlington (Benjamin) of Kansas City, Kansas, several nephews, nieces of Kansas City, Kansas as well as Arkansas and numerous other relatives. Funeral service for Mr. Salsberry will be at Greater Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. by Rev. Ronald Chargois. Interment will be in Owens Cemetery in Plumerville, Arkansas. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. the day of the funeral.
