Opha Jean Jackson Wert, age 88, of Menifee, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020.

Born October 23, 1931 in Menifee, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Elmo Jackson and Colodius Seaton Jackson.

She is survived by one son, Roy L. Wert (Pat) of Menifee, Arkansas, three daughters, Marcia J. Calvin (Lloyd) of Conway, Arkansas,Tamerlane J. Franklin (late Deacon Rayford Franklin) of Menifee, Arkansas and Regina J. Hogan (Charles) of Camden, Arkansas, one sister, Colonia Baskins of San Diego, California, sister-in-law, Ava Jackson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be from 2:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M. Friday afternoon, March 13, 2020 at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.

Family visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. Friday evening, March 13, 2020 at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service for Mrs. Wert will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, 11:00 A.M. at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee, Arkansas by Chief Judge Lavenski R. Smith.

Interment will be in Menifee Community Cemetery in Menifee, Arkansas.
