Reed Atlee Hawkins, age 68, of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017. Born April 10, 1949 in Washington, D.C.,he was the son of the late Vincent and Drucilla Hawkins. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hawkins of Morrilton, two daughters; Rita Hawkins Joyner of Washington D.C. and Sherita Hawkins of North Carolina, four stepdaughters; Joy (Darnell) Saxton of Augusta, Arkansas, Tracy (Samuel) Cotton, Tiara (Reggie) Smith and Tiffany (James) Trezvant, three brothers; Kurt Hawkins of Capital Heights, Maryland, Samuel Hodge of Woolford, Maryland and Jerome Hodge of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, two sisters; Yvonne Tillman of Gainesville, Virginia and Sylvia Lee of Fort Washington, Maryland, three special friends Mae Ola Greer, Rylee Oliver, Sandra Jones, other family members and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Hawkins will be Friday, May 26, 2017 9:00 A.M.at Greater Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas by Rev. Ronald G. Chargois. Interment will be 12:00 noon in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery 1501 W. Maryland Ave. North Little Rock, Arkansas by Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home of Morrilton. The body will lie in state at the church from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. the day of the funeral. Public viewing will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.
