Ricky Ronnell Newsome, 48 of Morrilton died Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Born May 5, 1962, in Morrilton, he was the son of the late HaroldE. Newsome, Sr. and Ida Jean Heaggans Newsome. Ricky joined Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a member until his death. Ricky was united in Holy matrimony to Sharon Rena Windom Newsome on September 6, 1980, and tothis union two children were born. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Sharon Newsome, two daughters; Conique Davidson (James) and Sherolyn Newsome all of Conway, AR and three grandchildren; Dayton and Brock Davidson and Alex Newsome, one sister, Tycene Adams; three brothers; Harold Newsome, Jr. (Mary) and Cornell Newsome, Sr. (Suzanne) all of Morrilton, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service forMr. Newsome will be Saturday, December 4, at 11:00 A.M. at Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, AR by Rev. Sherman Whitfield. Burial will be in Mt. ZionCemetery in Morrilton.
