Rodney Cardell Cummings was born on May 18, 1977 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Billy Wayne Cummings and Joyce Ann (Williams) Cummings. Rodney professed a hope in Christ at an early age under Rev. Floyd Morris. He wasa member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Byron Jackson. Rodney was a 1995 graduate of Morrilton High School. He was a very family oriented person who loved to be in the midst of friends and family. He was always willingto help everyone. Four grandparents preceded him in death, Josh and Dessie Williams of Plumerville, AR and WillieandEquator Cummings of Twin Groves, AR. He leaves to cherish his memories hiswife, Vanessa Cummings of Phoenix, Arizona, mother, Joyce Ann Cummings of Plumerville, Arkansas, two sons Rodrick Cummings and Nasir Cummings both of Phoenix, Arizona, three daughters, Samiyah Cummings, Jasmine Cummings and Dajale Cummings all of Phoenix, Arizona, one brother Charles Sullivan of Little Rock, Arkansas, five sisters, Stacey Cummings of Plumerville, Arkansas, Amber Cummings, Whitney Cummings and Kelsi Cummings all of Conway, Arkansas and Brooklyn Cummings of Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral service for Mr. Cummings will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Byron L. Jackson, Sr. Burial will be in Owens Cemetery in Plumerville, Arkansas
