Roman Reed, Sr., age 78 of Springfield, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Alice Reed of Springfield, AR, one son, Roman Reed, Jr. of Springfield, AR, three daughters, Vanessa Reed Hood, of Menifee, AR, Tonja Reed Cooper of Carrollton, TX and Marilyn Thomas Hudspeth of Huntsville, AL, two sisters, Romanetha Terry of Arkadelphia, AR and Marion LaFran Cameron of Louisville, KY, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mr. Reed will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, AR by Rev. Reginald Terry. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery in Springfield.
