Sis.Ruthie Helen Perline Payne, the daughter of the late Amos & Aretha Adams Payne was born October 8, 1927 in Morrilton, Arkansas. She was the tenth child born to this union. Sis. Payne made preparation for her homegoing at an early age accepting Christ and joining the Greater Union Hill Baptist Church where she remained until death. Sis. Payne was employed with Morrilton Plastics for a number of years. She loved being a beautician, fishing, canning, gardening and cooking for her family. Sis. Payne was the mother of five children, one son, Donnie Sr. preceded her in death and one granddaughter Renee Payne. She departed this life on Monday, May 28, 2012 in the comfort of her home. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Diana (Austin) Coates of Conway, Arkansas, three sons, Russell Toney Jr. of Morrilton, Arkansas, Bobby Earl (Ethel) Payne Sr. of Conway, Arkansas and Kasey Allen Payne of Russellville, Arkansas, two sisters, Mae Lee Richardson and Magnolia Richardson of Morrilton, two brothers, William Charles Payne and Willie Earl Payne of Morrilton, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Payne will be Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Greater Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas by Rev. David R. Byers. Burial will be in Owens Cemetery in Plumerville.
