Shirley was a devoted mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Shady Grove Baptist Church in Plumerville, AR under the leadership of Rev. Floyd Morris. She served in the church by singing in the choir. She was very popular in school and participated in various activities. At Plumerville High School she had the reputation of being fierce on the basketball court. Shirley loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She lived a happy life and was content with all the blessings she received. Fishing, barbecue at parks and critiquing basketball players were some of the things she enjoyed most. She worked at ConAgra Foods in Russellville, AR for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her father William Gene Hervey, former spouse Larry Cato, maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles. On Friday July 7, 2023 in the early morning, God called Shirley home to be with him. She leaves to celebrate her life full of memories; her mother, Willie B.
