Thomas Davis Jr. was born in Arkansas City, Arkansas on April 1, 1925 to Viola Rings and Thomas Davis Sr., both who preceded him in death. He attended Arkansas City High School and enlisted int the U.S. Navy after his discharge he met his wife, Gladys Cooper in California where he was stationed. He was the proud father of five children, one daughter, Brenda Martin (Jesse), sons, LaVerne Davis (Betty), Tommy Davis III (Helen), Billy Davis, Andre Davis who also preceded him in death. Cherishing his memories are a daughter, Dinah Kay Toney (Trevor), two sons, Derrick Davis and Tommy Davis IV, one sister, Kathye Ringo-Crowder, twenty-three grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces nephews and friends.
