Thresa Louise Osler-Scott was born on December 30, 1937 to the late Roosevelt Osler and Evie Felton Osler in Menifee, Arkansas. Thresaproclaimed Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She began her walk with Christ as a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee. She was preceded in glory by her husband, James Brockman,three sisters:Wilma Smith, Katie Patterson, and Bertha Leake, four brothers:James Osler, Wilbert Osler, Columbus Osler and Robert Osler. Upon her homegoing, she leaves 2 sons: David Payne of Conway, Arkansas and Dennis Osler of Lincoln, Nebraska, one daughter: Deborah Payne-Surratt, two sisters-in-law: Orene Osler and Zella Mae Wright Osler, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Scott will be Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee, Arkansas by Rev. Dwayne Courtney. Burial will be in Menifee Community Cemetery in Menifee.
