Obituary

Williard J. Rosbia was born May 31, 1940 toCarter and Octavia Kemp Rosbia. On Sunday, January 30, 2011 Willard entered into his eternal rest. Willard confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Greater Union Hill Baptist Church. Willard graduated from L. W. Sullivan High School in Morrilton, AR. Upon graduating, he entered into holy matrimony to Bervine Johnson, to this union, five children were born. Willard worked as a truck driver for Rheem Lumber Company, he also worked in numerous skillful trades such as carpentry and automobile repairs. His parents, one daughter, Esther M. Virgil, four sisters, Louise Garrett, Bernice Foster, Catherine Stricklen, Corrine Payne, three brothers, LeRoy Rosbia, Jessie Rosbia and Robert Earl Rosbia all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memoriesa devoted wife , Bervine Rosbia of Morrilton,two sons, Willie (Moon)Rosbia of Plumerville, AR and Cory (Chana)Rosbia of Conway, AR, two daughters, Bernice (Jimmy)Young of Twin Groves, Arkansas and Teresa Laws of Morrilton, one brother, Herman (Joyce) Rosbia of Pasadena, CA,two sisters, Melinda Lafayette and Louisa McDowell both of Morrilton,AR,ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Rosbia will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Greater Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton by Rev. Robert Byers. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. the day of the funeral. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Plumerville.
