Deacon William H. Foster, 96 of Morrilton, Arkansas transitioned on December 19, 2022, at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. He was born September 6, 1926, to the late George and Essie Milner Foster. Deacon Foster was a United States Army veteran, former mason, loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, and faithful deacon at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was very active in his community through his service as an election volunteer and contributions to organizations devoted to protecting the rights of others. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bervie Wright Foster; eight siblings, Athalene Cato, Jureatha Fleming, Aree Foster, L.T. Foster, Nathaniel Foster, Canzader Hood, Louise Garrett and Essie Bell Foster-Acklin; four sons, William T. McKinney, Willie Earl Foster, Rickey Earl Foster and Henry Lucas Foster and two daughters, Dorothy Ross and Helen Louise Price. He leaves to cherish his memory four children; two sons, Ray Charles (Lynn) Foster, Ronald (Verna) Foster both of Morrilton, AR; two daughters, Regina Ann (Leon) Taylor of Morrilton, AR and Helen Wilburn of Conway, AR; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
