Mr. William H. Moore, 87 of Plumerville, Arkansas transitioned on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. William "Billy" Harold Moore was born December 28, 1935 to William and Vennie Margaret (Davis) Moore. Bill joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at an early age and reunited with the church after moving back to Plumerville. Bill was united in marriage to Mary McDaniel, July 1955. Bill then joined the United States Air Force and became a Radio Technician. Bill served two tours in Korea. He served one tour and was called back for a second tour as he was the only person who could repair the radio system. After Bill's military service he lived in Tulsa Oklahoma and worked for McDonnell Douglas where he was certified as an Electrical Engineer. Bill was recognized as a VIP for his service on the Apollo Space Capsule Control Panel. He then later worked for Otis Elevator and Liberty Glass from which he retired. After retirement Bill returned to his hometown Plumerville, Arkansas. During Bill's life he traveled extensively from England to Canada and throughout the United States. Bill loved Hunting and Fishing. One of his favorite places to fish was Petit Jean Mountain with Walter "Scoot" Hervey, Jr. He traveled to Canada fishing with his dear Cousin Sylvania Herron, who cherish his memory as a special cousin, who gave him his flowers while he lived. He also traveled many times to Colorado where he hunted Elk. Bill was an avid rodeo fan who attended in his stylish cowboy attire. He was always dressed to impress in his western wear and maintained his independence throughout his life. Bill joins his parents William and Vennie, wife Mary, sister Daisy Pauline, and brother Joe Frank in God's heavenly kingdom. Bill leaves to cherish his memory 5 sons, Gregory (Carol) Hooks of Conway, AR, Walter Harold Moore of Tulsa, OK, Charles Ferrell Moore of Tulsa, OK, Dennis Chennier (Ruby) Moore of Prosper, TX, and William Edward (Mia) Moore of Tulsa, OK; sister, Molly Margaret Ann (Moore) Wolfe of Plumerville, AR, 9 Nieces, 7 Nephews, 9 Grand Children, 31 Great Grand Children and 6 Great-Great Grand Children.
