William Charles (Sam) Payne, Jr., age 62 of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020.

Born September 24, 1957 in Morrilton, Arkansas, he was the son of the late William Charles Payne, Sr. and Hettie Louise Everette Jefferson. He is survived by three brothers, William Charles Perry of Texas, Cornelius Neil Payne (Rose Mary) of Cleveland, Arkansas and Michael Wayne Payne of Morrilton, Arkansas, six sisters, Mary L. Payne, Aurora, Colorado, Vivian Gail Everette of Russellville, Arkansas, Debra (Craig) Surratt of Menifee, Arkansas, Rita Jean Payne of Seagoville, Texas, Jacqueline Ruth (Richie) Fisher and Latonya Payne of Morrilton, Arkansas, two aunts, Lillie Everette and Mae Lee Richardson, special nieces and nephews, Lotasha N. Young, Adrian LaJetta (Nick) Bell, Renita L. Payne, two great nephews, Tyler Brooks and Hayden Isaiah Bell, one goddaughter, Dewana McDaniel of Morrilton, Arkansas, a host of other relatives and friends.

Private graveside service will be by Rev. Glenn Hersey. Arrangements by Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home of Morrilton. There will be no public viewing.
