Mrs. Zella Osler 95, of Kansas City, Missouri transitioned on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Belton, Missouri. Zella was the 2nd child of 10 children born to the late Charles Ector and Daisy Lee Wright. Zella was born in Morrilton, Arkansas, March 2, 1930. Zella was married to Columbus Osler; She raised four children as her own. Zella was a people person, friendly, loved to talk and never met a stranger. She attended Ash Slew School. Worked at numerous establishments, but Hendrix College in Conway, AR was one of her favorites. She joined St. Matthew Baptist Church, Morrilton, AR at a young age. She moved to Kansas City MO and there she united with the Memorial Church International, under the pastorage of Apostle Larry B. Aiken. There she was lovingly known as Mother Osler, a faithful prayer warrior. Zella was part of the Mother's Board, and the noonday Bible Study, where she was known as a great prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Columbus, son Larry, grandson, Michael Collier, daughter Viola Collier, seven brothers and three sisters: Emmett, Marie, Charles (Jack), Eula, Charlene, Bennie, William Earl (Wig), Willie James and Raymond. She leaves to cherish her loving memory and to celebrate her homegoing, two daughters, Iola Howard (James), Beverly Brown; two young ladies she acknowledged as daughters, Olive Rudolph and Ida B. Rainey; and a great granddaughter that she helped to raise, Jaylan Davis, all of Kansas City MO. One sister, Margaret Thrower of Waianae, Hawaii; One brother, Leonard Wright (Leslie) of Saint Louis, Mo. A devoted Sister-in-law Mazie Wright of Morrilton, AR. 14 grandchildren, 40 plus great grandchildren and great great grands and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
